This page is dedicated to our beautiful baby girl Orla Mae Merryman. Our world was turned upside down when we were given the devastating news that our precious baby girl had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Our beautiful daughter arrived peacefully sleeping into this world on the 26th December 2023, at 16.41 weighing a wonderful 6lbs 10oz. She is the double of her big sister Darcie Rose, we instantly fell deeply in love with our precious baby girl. Our hearts are truly broken by the devastating loss of our baby girl Orla Mae, there are no words to truly explain our heartbreak and while there is nothing that will ever take away this pain, we are determined as loving parents to make a positive difference in Orla’s name for the rest of our days. We have chosen to make donations to the Snowdrop Suite at Wythenshawe Hospital. The Snowdrop Suite is a specialist maternity bereavement suite away from the regular maternity wards, it is ran by a specialist team of bereavement midwives, named the LOTUS team. This space allows desperately grieving parents a safe space to spend precious time making memories with their beloved babies, we will be forever thankful for the time we were able to spend with Orla. The care we received during our time in the Snowdrop Suite will stay with us for the rest of our lives, we were treated with so much dignity and compassion during the most painfully difficult time of our lives. We are passionate to help in anyway we can in memory of our beautiful daughter.
